Toronto and CN Tower
January 13, 2002 - Route: Brampton, Bolton, Stouffville, Bolton, Brampton. Winds were 15 kts gusting 28. One of the passengers got airsick over Soutffville due to all the turbulence, so we had to turn around. Strangely, she was a flight attendant years ago. To see where she barfed, click the image on the left.
Elena took a fabulous sequence of the landing at Brampton on runway 33. Unfortunately, the AVI is too large to include here. Instead, click the picture on the right to see an animated gif.
This picture looks south east while "turning base" for runway 33 Brampton. The water tower in Snelgrove can be seen.
On base, this picture looks east and shows the Valleywood subdivision. We are over my friend Cathy's farm (not seen).
These orange coloured buildings are NOT the hangars at Brampton. They are a public storage facility located in nearby Victoria. The unaware pilot can be confused easily. DO NOT LAND IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE DONUT SHOP!
